Mr. Johnson Agboola is the Head of Internal Procurement Unit of the Public Procurement Agency. Born on 18th July, 1969, Mr. Agboola graduated from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos in 2008 with a B.Sc. degree in Accounting. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State in 2019.
Mr. Agboola became a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) in 2011 and has attended several training courses in Project Management and Public and Private Procurement Management at local and national training institutes.
Prior to his coming to the Agency, he had garnered about fifteen years’ experience in the Maintenance and Production departments of the Lagos Water Corporation in one of its major water treatment plants, the Adiyan Waterworks Phase1.
He also served as a Procurement Officer under the Lagos component of the World Bank- sponsored 2nd National Urban Water Sector Reform Project (2NUWSRP) between 2013 and 2018. He was also a member of the Procurement team for Network Distribution System for Waterworks Rehabilitation and Expansion.
Mr. Agboola is noted for delivering assignments on time. An excellent team player with good diplomatic and tactful skills, he has a knack for handling sensitive, confidential records and information with utmost confidentiality. He is flexible and versatile and is able to maintain composure under pressure even in deadline-driven environments. He is happily married and blessed with lovely children.
