ABOUT THE AGENCY
The Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (the Agency) was established on the 2nd of April, 2012 under the Lagos State Public procurement Law, 2011 (the Law), The objectives of the Agency are to ensure probity, accountability and transparency in Public Procurement throughout Lagos State. The Agency is therefore charged with the responsibility of formulating Policies and guidelines relating to Procurement in Lagos State as well as certifying all Procurements prior to, during and after the awards of Contract. Its scope of operation shall Include the State Government, Local Government Councils/Development Authority and all procuring entities in the State. The Law is based on the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) model, which is a properly regulated procurement system benchmark on international best practice.

within the National and International Competitive bidding as well as REoI for consultancy services.

Inform, Educate & Build Trust

among stakeholders in the procurement process as well as encourage active stakeholder participation.

About this Website

This website is another major IEC (Information, Education and Communication) tool intended to bridge the communication gap between the Lagos State Government and other external stakeholders (including prospective contractors/service providers, NGOs, CSO, and the general public) in matters regarding the Public Procurement in the State. This website aims to:

  •     > Inform and educate stakeholders on the importance of the new public procurement regime in the State and attendant benefits for economic growth and poverty alleviation
